Photo Booth

Is anyone using, or been to a wedding that has had a Photo Booth?  I have only seen Katy Trefy from Lauxmont that offers this, but I'm sure there are others.  Anyone have a good recommendation for someone who has a Photo Booth?  I would absolutely love to have one, and I will use Katy if that's my only option, I just would like to compare prices.  TIA :-)

There are a few local DJs who have them available.  We are trying to fit in in to our budget because I want one SOO BAD!  How much does Katy charge?

She quoted me 675 but that's only if I use Lauxmont's facilities... which I'm not... and that was the bridal show discounted rate.  I haven't found a DJ that does them yet so hopefully if I keep looking that could be an option.  Other ones I found when I looked on Google were like 1500 dollars, and that's just not in my budget unfortunately!

    Hi,

I know Phantom Entertainment out of Carlisle offers one.  I believe it's $1000 K for four hours.  Hope that helps.

Yes, Phantom Entertainment offers them - and if you don't already have a DJ they have a special going right now that is $1500 for their DJ service and the photo booth.

Also - Mr B Entertainment out of New Cumberland has them.  (That's who I think we will be using for our DJ).

They definitely aren't cheap - but SUCH a ute idea!!!  Let me know if you find a good one?  I've been searching for a while now!

Feel free to email me:  heather.j.barnes at gmail dot com.  =)

I'm having a photobooth at my reception i was at a  bridal show and DJ Freez was offering a package deal with the photobooth and himself.  You can get the photobooth separately too.   www.djfreez.com

    Hope this helps.

PhotOle Photography has a green screen. You can choose different backgrounds, and I believe it comes with props.

We had a photo booth at our wedding and it was a huge hit!  I will get you the name of our vendor when I get home tonight.

Some things to consider when hiring a photo booth for a wedding:
    1.  Are there unlimited photos allowed?
    2.  Will you be given a CD of all of the shots taken at the wedding?
    3.  What will be the quality of the paper used for the prints?
    4.  Will a dedicated attendant be provided so that any problems can be managed immediately?
    5.  How quickly are photos taken and processed (determines how long your line will be and, ultimately, how many photos are taken during your party.
    6.  How many hours including set up and break down will the photo booth be at your party?
    7.  Are there delivery/set up/break down charges on top of the price?

A lot of the photo booths set up by DJs, etc. are just cameras with curtains and a photo printer on the outside.  That's can be fine, but you should know what you are buying, which is not always clear.  There are companies that provide real old fashioned photo booths, both digital and real photos (using developing chemicals, etc.) like www.classicphotobooth.net that are really fabulous (probably the best that I've seen) but more expensive.

We were very happy with our photo booth vendor and our guests LOVED it!!!

I checked, and we used Festive Fotobooths.  They are now known by the company name Go Festive.  We had great success with them, and they were much more reasonably priced than many others.  They were willing to drive out to Lancaster, PA (for a small fee) for our wedding reception at Country Barn.

    The website is http://gofestive.com/

    Good luck!

Hi - I used Festive Fotobooths for our Lancaster wedding too and they were a huge hit at my wedding and people still comment on it.  If I can remember correctly, their standard packages didn't work for us, so we went ala carte and they gave us a quote for roughly $1200 but then I read a post by another bride on here who was asking for almost the same thing and had negotiated with them for something like $950 so my mom called them and negotiated an even lower rate for us - which allowed us to add some benefits.  you can definitely negotiate with them.

I will say, although it was a big hit, two things bothered me.  1.  the photo strips weren't centered and were printing all the way to the one edge so there was a white border on one side but not the other and the attendant was not experienced enough to fix it.  2.  we got the frames and had the photobooth as our favor but I don't think people got the full extent of the booths potential, lot of people left their frames behind (which served as place card before dinner) or didn't collect their photo strip print.

Mr. B Entertainment charges $750 for 4 hours. Package includes 2 photo strips; 1 for guests, 1 for you, all images on digital disc.
