affordable venue for 200 guests

I am having a hard time finding a ceremony and reception site in northern va to accommodate my guest list and budget. we are expecting to invite 200 people with a total budget of $20,000. Any suggestions? I would prefer outdoor space, but its not a neccessity. Thanks!

    Have you looked at all at local colleges and universities?  George Mason and NVCC both have relatively inexpensive event space available for rental.  For the DC area, though, that's a LOT of guests for that budget, so you may want to also consider looking at the more standard venues in the offseason or on off days (Sundays or Fridays).

    It depends when you are planning your wedding. I think a lot of the dates are filled up for early 2013 at my venue. I am having my ceremony and reception at Glen Echo park in bethesda. Great outdoor space and accommodates any number of guests.

    Did you find anything? I have the same person to budget ratio and its not looking good in this area! Kimpton Hotels in DC does offer 15 off some dates as well as Fridays and Sundays, so they might work in your budget!
