Custom wedding rings?

My engagement ring is beautiful (of course) but it's an odd shape - think a bow with the centre stone as the knot. I think I may have to have a wedding ring custom made to fit it, does anyone know how long that might take and how long it could be? (Never mind where to go in the GTA).

    We had my engagement ring custom-made. It took about a week between our first meeting/okaying the design and then about two weeks to make, because he was back-logged and it was going to be hand-engraved.

    I will also have to get a custom ring as my ring is a cluster ring. I thinki it is the best option and might be even cheaper than buying a ring from a store.

    note:  don;'t forget ladies, if you have existing gold (old necklaces, bracelets, rings) you can bring it to your jeweller and they can use that material to make your ring.  They just melt it down and reshape it as long as it is all the same K.  Same goes for old diamonds.  This will reduce your cost dramatically.

    I highly highly recommend going to Engage diamond studio. The are located on Sheppard between Vic. Park and the 404 on the north side. They actually make almost everything custom, and they are WAY cheaper than you think. My engagement ring i from there, and we will definitely be going back for our wedding rings. I hope this helps!

    I got mine done on etsy.com.  I posted a review under "vendors" in my bio if you're interested.  We got rose gold rings custom made.  My engagement ring was a funny shape, too, so I took pictures and measurements and sent them to the seller.  The rings were finished in about 3 weeks and mine fits perfectly with my ring.

    It is like a cluster of little diamonds shaped into something that looks like a flower.  It is an antique ring from the 30s.

    Have a look.  it is rather unusual but very beautiful in my opinion

    I highly recommed Samuel Kelinbergs at Bathurst & Lawrence . We get all of our jewellery there. They make beautiful custom pieces . They have good prices and excellent customer service. We won't shop anywhere else!

    I also have a cluster ring as my engagement ring, so I got a band custom made at 18Karat in the Village by the Grange... I do not recommend him as he took over a month to make it and charged me $600 for a very small very plain and VERY ugly band. I'm currently having a second one made at S.Z. Jewellry in Commerce Court downtown and I'll let you know how that turns out.
