I have to pick a first dance song by tomorrow!

I think that I am officially freaking out... We met with the DJ today and were totally unprepared. We have no idea what our first dance song will be and need to pick one asap. Please throw ideas at us because we've been sitting in front of the computer for hours and can't find anything!

-No country

-No hard rock

-Has to be in English

What kind of music do you typically listen to? Do you have a mutual favorite band? If you can't find a song that suits you, is there an option of not having a first dance?

I really want to have a first dance. My fiance has a lot of work to take care of prior to us leaving for our honeymoon so I think he is very stressed and this is affecting his ability to pick a song.

I really liked "I can't wait" by Runner Runner but my best friend got married this past weekend and she used that song

The new Jason Mraz tears me up every time. I think it's called "I Won't Give Up."

I second Sinatra and really any classic songs. They never go out of style and you really can't go wrong with any of them.

We're doing a Frank SInatra song. It's classic, short, sweet, and is something that won't go out of style. There are so many other classic ones! LOVE, Cheek to Cheek (you know, "heaven... I'm in heavennnnn")... good luck!

I have NO idea what our first dance is. FI picked it and it is a surprise.
Had I picked it.. if I had picked it would probably have been Better Together by Jack Johnson.. we are using that for our recessional.
