Alterations suggestions!

Hey all!  I'm getting married Oct. 22 and need to get my dress altered!  Late in the game I know, but I had the hardest time finding shoes!!  Anybody have any good suggestions or have good recommendations?  I bought my dress from Bride and Formal, and I know they give suggestions, however, I would like to find something closer to the West chester area if possible.  Thanks guys!!!

Lorie Schurr! She is in Maineville.  I had my first fitting with her last week, and I am really comfortable with her, and think she'll do a great job.  I've read a lot of reviews about her, and they have all been excellent.  Not to mention she is charging me less than $100 to do a LOT of work on my dress!  If you want her #, let me know.

Late in the game? I beat you! lol I just dropped my dress off last week for my wedding this week. Check out Stitches by Pauline. Very affordable and located in loveland.

I also went to Stitches by Pauline.  She's great.  My wedding is Oct. 15 and I went for my first fitting last weekend (weekend before labor day weekend) and she said that's plenty of time.  She's very reasonable and even took off $10 for the hem because my dress wasn't super fancy.  She took a lot of time to make sure the fitting went great and for the hem, added cups (told me wearing a strapless bra with a strapless dress is a big no no), took in the zipper and added an extra loop to make the top tighter as the night goes on and the fabric stretches, was only $99.   My dress is a Saja dress for reference.  She does only take cash/check, but that's not a problem.

I went to Cindy at Cynthia's Sewing, who works out of her home in West Chester. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I can't wait to see what my dress looks like!

I second Lori Schurr - I now take all of my clothes to her for alterations since she did such an amazing (and affordable) job on my reception and rehearsal dinner dresses!

I also used Cindy at Cynthia's Sewing and my dress looks amazing and fits perfectly.  Even with a somewhat complicated hem and bustle, she was quite affordable and very professional.  She's also pretty quick.  She had quite a bit to do on my dress but had it completed in less than 3 weeks.  I would HIGHLY recommend her.  (Did I mention she's in West Chester?)
