Afternoon chat?

Is anyone around?

I just ate lunch and it was awesome.  I got a beef tenderloin gyro with roasted potatoes and fruit.

    Sounds yummy! I'm just killing time before tech rehearsal. The voice class I teach has a dance component, and their final performance is this weekend.

    I ate lunch a little while ago, and am trying to get off my ass and go to the gym.  Lunch was my favorite salad: greens, red onion, feta, watermelon, olive oil, balsamic.  So good.

    YES to Taziki's!!  It is my favorite place in LR.

    Good luck on Friday.  The procedure isn't too bad, but that sucks about the cost.

    I'm SO hungry. I had dental work done this morning, and I have to wait a bit longer before I eat. On the upside, I went in expecting a root canal, and only had to get a crown instead.

    Anna- how do you pronounce gyro?  (your-o, or the "j" sound - i - ro)  If those two make sense.

    No fun! Hope it goes well. When I had mine out I used a towel to tie a soft ice pack on my face. Looked like a Norman Rockwell painting, but avoided chipmunk cheeks!

    Not Anna, but I always thought it was more like he-ro or ye-ro.

    I've also never ordered one.

    I think the ye-ro is a better explanation of the your-o I was giving.  That is how I say it now, but when I lived up north it was the other way.

    They make amazing gyros across the street.  And they're only $6.

    I'm avoiding work.  Actually I'm waiting for some processes to finish so I can do my next thing.
