Accountability - Thursday

So FI and I didn't get to the gym yesterday, I had to go to a work conference/expo thing that was in a city a couple hours away for the day, came back late and had a business meeting at night. I did however log quite a bit of walking at the expo and made sure to put that in MFP. Apparently I was too far under my calories yesterday (like 500 cals under). This seems to be my biggest problem with it all, and always kinda has been... I tend to not eat ENOUGH to lose the weight and build muscle the way I want to....

How was yesterday for you ladies? Anyone hitting any goals? Anyone new sign up for MFP since our last chat about it? How's the '180-360 Challenge' going for you ladies? I need to head over and update mine after I finish this post...

Does anyone do the whole working out at a kids playground thing? I have been seeing more and more about it on Pinterest and was always kinda interested in it, looks like a fun way to tie in a workout! I think FI and I might try it out this weekend :D We live in a pretty small town, so early in the mornings and later in the evenings the playgrounds are always dead lol

  • I have absolutely NO problem eating all of my cals ;)  I am a total pig and could eat all of the time.  

    Last night FI decided that he wanted to run... first time in a long while that he has been running.  It was shorter and a little bit slower than what I normally would do but it was great to get out together!  So far I've stayed true to my goal this week of doing something active everyday (anything weight lifting or cardio related.... intentional exercise).  Tonight I'm planning on getting to the gym to do a quick run and ab workout.

    I couldn't agree more with this statement!  I eat when I'm bored and this week has been terribly slow at work so I've been munching non-stop.  I hate it, and get so mad at myself afterwards.  I wanted to get up early this morning and work at to a JM DVD but that didn't happen.  I kept hitting snooze.  I have got to get motivated!!  I'm gonna do it afterwork though!

    </div><div>Last night FI & I went to Fenway Park. So I'm just totally calling yesterday an "F it" day & not worrying. Probably will go far a walk tonight. Tomorrow will be my favorite exercise day of the week, going to play with my friend's son! </div>

  • You guys are all making me jealous... I seriously struggle with this! Lol
  • I lost 4 pounds in the last week. Unfortunately it is because I was really sick and didn't eat for 3 days but I'll take it. 

    The exciting part is that I know I weigh less now than I have in at least 4 years. I lost some weight 2 years ago but gained it all back and then some when I started dating FH. 

    I have been slacking this week in terms of gym time but I have been eating well. Last night we had broiled tuna steaks, brown rice and spinach.  I am having leftover spinach and rice for lunch. It was delicious, spinach is probably my favorite vegetable but it has several competitors.

  • Yesturday I worked out at home because I had to work when FI and I usually go to the gym. But it was a good workout, my "Pinterest" workout as I like to call it :) I printed off a bunch of work outs and I do a run through of all them daily. Alone they don't look like much but put them together and you have a good 45-60 minute's of strengthening! Today I will be doing the at home workout again.

    I must workout everyday because I'm taking Saturday off. FI and I are going out of town for the day. I've still been doing well with my eating healthy so that's good. Although I don't have enough courage yet to check weight or measurements, I get discouraged easily, so I'm holding off.
  • Yesterday was good for eating with me but I didn't make it to the gym.  As soon as I got home from work cleaned the kitchen, made dinner, and did homework.  By that time it was bedtime.  Today has been not the best eating day for me.  I had a pop during class cause I forgot to bring tea.  But I've got way more time to go to the gym tonight.
