Happy Thursday!

Our invitations came in last night. They look great! The proof pics are in my bio. They look just like that. Except, not blurry. I got invitations, inserts, RSVP cards and envelopes through Etsy for about $2.70 each.

Today and tomorrow are both going to be busy days at work. I can't wait for the weekend. My great-grandmother is coming to see me, we're going shopping for her dress for the wedding.

Mary, I love your invitations! I like that they look like art and the tree design is so unique and pretty.

I have my first fitting today after work. I haven't even tried my dress on since December or January so I hope that it goes well!

I think that storm hit us here in Wilmington at 6 in the morning! Rufus the puppy was barking at the rain hitting the window until I stuck him under the covers.

Morning!

my nerves are out the roof. . .its rediciulous. I've ridden for 15 years but haven't had a structured lesson in about 3. So now I'm all jittery and the eval is at 10. ugh. . . someone slap me!

I woke up around 2 am when the storm hit here and rumbled. All the dogs (both of them) were in the bed. Poor Timmy had to get out because he's not supposed to sleep in the bed, I think he just got scared last night, because 98% of the time he sleeps in the doggie bed. Lucy was curled in a ball at the foot of the bed, under the blankets. I stayed awake for a while and watched it (storms are peaceful to me)

Happy Thursday everyone!

This morning is already been he-double hockey sticks. Nothing going well yet this morning...hopefully the day will only get better!

We are heading out to get our marriage license in Rutherford County tomorrow. I can't wait...that's just the sign its really getting super close! We'll finish up the weekend in the mountains at Western Carolina with friends. Should be a nice relaxing one.

Good Morning. I'm so sleepy this morning. The storm last night scared our cat, so she decided the safest place for her was jumping from my pillow to FI's pillow. Poor thing.

We have nothing planned tonight, and I'm so happy for that. We have had such a busy week, and our apartment is a disaster, so I'm excited to go home and clean tonight. Question, we had our wedding shower this past weekend? Are we supposed to wait until after the wedding to use the gifts?

Good morning ladies! Today is going to be a busy day! I have lots of errands to run...but I get to pick up a few things for the apartment :-) Our camera shipped out yesterday. It left FedEx in NJ at 3:30 this morning so hopefully it will be here by tomorrow! DH woke up at 5 & couldn't go back to sleep this morning so he went in to work at 6:30. That means he'll be able to get off at 4:30 & the rest of his time from last Monday will be made up!

Brandy, if you do have an Etsy store, e-mail the link. Don't post it on here. Just to be safe.

Morning. I stayed home from work yesterday, mostly from sheer exhaustion. Our weekends for the next month are so busy that it makes me tired thinking about them. Luckily its mostly for fun stuff -- beer festival, Zac Brown concert, FI and my birthdays (a day apart), showers, trip to CO for b-party and shower...that gets us through Labor Day weekend. Then e might have a weekend with nothing to do.

Love the invites Mary -- and what a price! Now I wish I had checked etsy out a little better!

Malea -- we made the buffalo chicken recipe off your blog last night. It was yummy - will definetely be trying more recipes out from everyone's blogs!

Good morning!

That storm was intense! FI was up all night writing a paper so I was sorta up off and on too (grr) and when I woke up at like 5ish the storm was non-stop thunder! Of course our dogs don't wake up for anything so they slept right through it.

Beka you'll be great! I always get worried when I start lessons again that my position has gone to crap but usually a little tuning is all it takes to get back in the groove. Good luck!

Holly---Unfortunately due to a hectic schedule, I was unable to make appointments with Olga. She sounds so great but just a little too far away .
I ended up going with Ann at Park Road Alterations in Charlotte. She has great reviews locally and I really don't need much done to the dress. I plan on changing the straight neckline to a sweetheart and I need a bustle (I'm 5'9" and will be wearing flats so no hemming needed--wooohoo)

She was great to work with. Always got back to me within a day, and we went through multiple proof versions with no problems. The final product is great, very nicely printed and put together (the purple color is a cardstock backing).
