Postcard Reply Return Address

Hi everyone!
I was on this board more when I was first engaged in the beginning of 2010, but I've gotten busy with the end of law school and the bar exam. I've been back lurking a bit for the last couple of weeks and our wedding is coming up quickly!
We're working on the last few details of our invites and we decided to do postcard reply cards, but I'm a little confused about addressing them. Obviously the postcards would be addressed to us, but what about the return address? Do we use our own address to be absolutely sure it gets to us or allow guests to fill it in with theirs? We will have a place for guests to write in their names and I'll be numbering all of them to keep track of who they are from, so should we use our address as the return address? TIA!

We used the post cards. I only had our address on them, I didn't worry about people putting theirs on there. I also didn't number them. We haven't received about half, but I plan on calling once our deadline is up. Good luck!

I did postcards as well. We didn't put a return address on them, just our address on the front. I didn't number mine and I HIGHLY recommend it so you know easily who hasn't RSVPed and can call :) Good luck~

Reply cards do not contain return addresses.  Return addresses are used if the main address is written wrong or sloppy or the person does not live at the place anymore.  My guess is you won't write your own address wrong, haha.

We did postcards (from the paper depot) and did not print return addresses on them.  We thought about it, but it would have been so much work!  Besides, we planned to call anyone who didn't RSVP anyway.  We received every RSVP that people told us they mailed, even without the return addresses.

We didn't number the RSVPs because they were pre-printed with people's names but if your aren't pre-printed, I'd recommend numbering them.

We just put our address on the front, with no return address.  I've only had about 1 or 2 people, write in their address.

I also suggest to number them & match everything up on a spreadsheet.  It's helped me out many times!  = )

We put only our address on the postcard RSVPs we sent out. A lot of guests added their own return address labels.

We put each guest's return address on them.  That helped keep track without the numbering and now we don't have to worry about it.
