Holiday Wish List

Anyone asking for anything in particular? My MIL is asking me for my list (I can't believe I'm a 27 yr old making a list, but can't complain!), but I have no idea what to ask for!!

What are you asking for this year?

Lists are pretty much required in my family.  My step-mom says that if I don't give her a list, I don't get anything at all.  I'm asking for items off our wedding gift registry that are still left over.  I'm also asking for gift cards to a few places for clothes and to the Container Store.

    My MIL wants one too.

At the top of my list is a Macbook Pro (mostly for Steve, but I can't wait to have a computer that I can use and upload pictures to)

A digital camera would be nice.  I bought one about 2 years ago but I can't find the cord to charge it up.

    Gift cards to IKEA

Basically just stuff for the house.

    World Peace.

But seriously, my parents bought my ticket home for Christmas as my gift. They also paid for some things I bought when NY&Co was having a 50% off sale after Thanksgiving. I got a jacket, sweater, pair of pants, purse, and necklace for $100!

My MIL called sunday and asked what we wanted. I told her that I wanted clothes and a Chi straightner(sp?). Then I had this bright idea today that I need a deep fryer. and a george forman grill.

    I want steak.with ranch.and mashed potatoes.

Well, I'm graduating exactly a week before christmas so things on my combined list are a Wii (grandmother is buying it for me), new digital camera (one of those Nikkon touch screen ones), some Blu-rays since we have a Blu-Ray player now, Business Card holder, and new coat.

Same here. I want to finish the plates and flatware from our registry. I could also use some winter clothes and I want some DVDs.

We had to make two separate lists for each set of parents because we didn't want to upset anyone by getting duplicate gifts.  I asked Bill's parents for an iPhone docking station with speakers, Wii games, and some other little stuff.  I didn't send my mom one for myself but I told her I wanted this year's Holiday Barbie.  She's so pretty!

We stopped doing lists in my family when kids got into the picture. We get all the parents/siblings, wives, husbands, etc. in a mix and do a secret santa. It helps out a lot!

But I sent my MIL a list and I had a hard time thinking of stuff. I'm asking for a Flip recorder, some North Face gear, Willaims Sonoma Gift Cards, and NO clothes! I hate having other ppl buy my clothes for me.

I'm debating on asking for a $850 Marc Jacobs bag knowing full well that I won't get it, but hey, it's worth a shot, right??

    Steak & Ranch? Hmmmm???

From the FILs I told them stuff on the registry.. having recently graduating college and FI coming from a bachelor pad we have NO nice kitchen or home type things. My grandparents donate to charity instead of gifts and my mom paid for all my bridal accessories as my chrismas gift. I think we are only buying gifts for my sister and my neice, our parents have requested us not get them anything because the wedding being 100 days away now!!!!

Lists are a must for my side of the fam too, but my ILs could care less what we actually want.

I asked for an iHome, a certain pair of shoes I've been eyeing for months, a bunch of different movies, a new pair of nice silver hoops, DKNY Be Delicious, iTunes gift cards and its just standing knowledge that I will never turn away anything Coach ;)

I am having such a hard time this year.  We don't need anything and the few things we did need, we got for the wedding.

I asked for a vaccuum from my dad because the one we got for the wedding was defective.

From my mom I asked for pajamas and perfume.

From Ben, I want a new Coach purse and my couch slipcover dry cleaned.   Exciting I know.

I want a new bike.  Justin and I like to bike ride together but we recently donated mine to charity because it was just old and the seat really hurt my bobo.  I also would like a Louis V but I know that won't happen.  I told my mom I wanted some new perfume...I'm diggin' this Pink Sugar I tried on at Sephora the other day.  A new gym bag would also be nice.  We do chineese Christmas with all of my family so who knows what we'll get there!

We do a gift exchange between my side of the family, and since we're flying & doing carry on most everyone put gift cards on their list.

From Chris I threw out some "very nice to have" items like a new laptop or new camera... whatever it is is supposed to arrive today, so I'm super excited.

I would like some Wii games, a new laptop, a dyson, Target gift cards, my car detailed, a personal assistant (yeah, don't think I am getting that last one!).
