Accountability - Wednesday

How was yesterday for everyone? I only had time for a 1/2 hr workout, but spent the whole 1/2 hr on the treadmill running so it worked out well :)

Today is an emotional day for me, the 10 yr anniversary of my father passing. The gym has always been a place of comfort when I need to deal with anything emotional, regardless of what the emotion is... so I am heading there right after work and I assume it'll be a good long workout...

  • Great pic today.  Also, I'm glad you found comfort in a positive outlet, kudos to you :)

    Yesterday I had a KILLER sinus headache so I didn't work out.  I ate pretty healthy so I'm not all that upset by it.  I am hoping to do some lifting and a little cardio tonight if my sinusitis doesn't come roaring back by the end of the day.
  • yesterday i focused more on cardio, but then at the end, Dan was taking a while so i squeezed some tricep/upper back exercises in there. it was less crowded over by the weights (usually always only guys over there), so that was good and meant i was able to use some of the machines that i normally don't dare venture over to.
    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

  • Sorry to hear it's a sad day for you.  :(

    Yesterday I did cardio & abs.  I work out at home and I'm about to finish the first 30-day phase of a 120-day program.  This morning I had a resistance workout - a lot of shoulders, squats and lunges.  Today was the 12th day in a row that I've exercised after being laid up for 3 weeks with a sinus thing, so I would say I'm back on track!

  • Doing great! I am in week two of Power 90, my partner is doing it with me. I feel stronger already! I am finally at a point where I am excited to work out.
