Vests with a Tux

Wondering if you fiances are going with vests or sans vests.I always thought vests were tradtiional but the I was googling some of my favorite men and they always wear tuxes SANS vest and it looks pretty modern and sleek:

He choose vests so it ties in our wedding colors for the guys. They are having a patternedred vest with a solid red tie.

He said he wanted to wear one with his suit, but then changed his mind to save money on his outfit. I'm hoping he goes with a vest....

I do think those tuxs look nice without a vest though.

I'm not a fan of vests so I hope FI doesn't get one. That being said I'm keeping my mouth shut because I'm getting to wear exactly what I want day of and I think he should too. *Fingers crossed*

My FI and I decided on a tux together, and the price was the same w/ or w/o the vest, so he decided to go for the vest (I wanted him to, but wasn't going to be pushy). He will have a white vest and red tie, while the groomsmen will have black vests with a red tie (I think), and the Dads will be in all black.

I think the tuxes w/o a vest look very nice too, but let your FI put his 2 cents in, as he may want something different than you (mine did, he wanted long ties while I had loved bow ties, I gave him the long ties, it is his day too so why shouldn't he feel comfortable).
