I'm not gonna lie, I do it haha and untill this weekend i've been jealous of you girls that have been like "Ohmigosh! Someone bought this!"
So I have 2 showers next week, one with FI's family, and then one with my family when I go home for Easter, and stuff is FINALLY coming off the registry.
FI wanted boring white plates/bowls etc (he claims they're timeless I wanted something more fun), so we registered for some white ones that are a funky shape, but I thought they were expensive, didn't think anyone would get them for us, $149.99 for a 4 person set, so we registered for 2 so we'd have setting for 8 and someone bought us 3 of them! And someone bought us our duvet (down alternative king size) and a couple other things. But i'm so excited about the duvet (this now means we HAVE to get a king size bed, which was the plan anyway) and the plates and stuff! woo hoo!
I can't wait for my showers new week! I love FI's family they all live around the area that we live in now, so it's all FI's family a couple friends i've made since I moved, my ladies from work and my mom and 2 bridesmaids are coming.
Then I go back to where my mom lives, where all my family is, and I have that shower that weekend. My MOH's mom is throwing it for me... I love her! And my MOH moved away (much farther than I moved) this summer with her boyfriend, so she's going to be home and I can't wait to see her! Love her to death and I miss her like crazy, haven't seen her since x-mas and it wasn't such a happy time at christmas so I'm excited to get together with my girls and just have a blast! I love them! Also my bachelorette easter weekend!
I can't wait! and the wedding is coming so fast!
