    Over on the E board they say its tacky and impersonal. I say go for what is best for you. I may use clear labels. My std's are still sitting here because I got tired of writing. Lol

    I used labels as well. it's 2013, and things have changed a little bit. every invitation that I have received over the past five years has been labels. it's just so much easier. I feel like if I'm inviting you to the wedding we have a personal relationship.

    I think its whatever you feel.... My STD's were hand written... BUT I am still deciding on the invites and RSVP envelopes. I better decide quick..I plan on sending them out by the end of this month..

    The idea is that you should be personally extending the invite to a guest as the host of the event.

    I ended up writing ours with the return address printed on.
