DTC Hyatt

Good morning Ladies!

Have any of you had your reception, or been to a wedding in the Centennial room at the DTC Hyatt? It's on the twelfth floor, with floor to ceiling windows, beautiful views of the mountains and of Denver. My FI and I loved it, and we have a lot of guest coming from New York, so I'm sure they'll love the views too.

My only concern is it has a weird layout, and I'm worried for 150-175 people it might feel too crowded and hard to get around. I haven't seen this venue on any wedding websites, so I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced it.

thanks!

    Jackie,

I've seen the venue but only because that's our venue.  I don't remember the capacity of the room for various functions but it seats 125 for a plated dinner.  The one request FI had was something with a view of the city and the mountains.  There are pretty much 4 that met that criteria.  The view is beautiful, the layout is definitely different than most.  I would just make sure that it will accomodate your guest count.  We just hired our florist and she has great ideas for the atrium for our ceremony.  On the plus side if the Centennial ballroom works for you, the view definitely saves on the expense of decor!  Another plus, I love Christine!  She has been very helpful to us even before getting the contract together.  If you decide to go with this venue, let me know.  It would be fun to see what each of us plans.
