Need a good laugh

Today just isn't my day, and it's only 9am.

Got up this morning and got all ready for work. Wore flip-flops out to the car because my brown shoes that matched my dress were in the car. Sat in the car and the strap to my dress broke. I had to run inside and change. Forgot to grab my black shoes, and wore my flip-flops to work. Get to work and my internet isn't working. Re-start my computer a few times and finally got it working. I then go on the So You Think You Can Dance website (my favorite show) to see when the tour is going to be in Boston. Well of course it's coming the weekend I'm going to be in FL.

I realize that these things are nothing major, but it makes me think "Come on, just give me a break already!" So ladies, what's something that has made you laugh lately? Something completely random? Anything to get my mind off my day, and have a good little chuckle would be amazing.

Well, I had one of those "give me a break" moments a few months ago. BF and I were going out to a belated birthday dinner for me, and I would not shut up about this one restaurant I wanted to go to. Literally, it's all I talked about. It was a pretty small place that always held some tables for two, so I thought I wouldn't need a reservation.

We get off the train, and walk quite a bit, since it's in the western part of the city where there isn't any subway service. We walk and walk and walk and as soon as we get there, there's a big sign plastered on the window: "CLOSED FOR PRIVATE EVENT."

BF immediately starts hysterically laughing. I was SO mad. And since it was a Saturday night in Manhattan, and we hadn't made dinner reservations anywhere, we walked around FOR THREE HOURS trying to find a place to eat.

If you still need cheering up, there's always fun things like Nora, the Piano Cat. Or, if you can listen to stuff at work (with headphones!) search for a podcast on iTunes called the Sarah & Vinnie Secret Show. They're an SF morning show, and their podcast is hilarious (but kind of dirty, so you need headphones). Yesterday's episode had me laughing hysterically in my car.
