Latin traditions?

Hey girls

I'm getting married next year.
I'm from Nicaragua, but has lived in Denmark since I was 11 years old, so I'm not sure what the latin traditions are. (At the reception/party).

The fun ones specially.. Smile

Thanks

Re: Latin traditions?

  • Oh no! TK has been hungry today! Your post got eaten... could you repost?
  • Of course. :-)

As I wrote before, I'm looking for some fun latin traditions (for the reception/dinner/party).

    Thanks girls Smile
  • Depends on what Latin country the couple is from.  I'm part Dominican and decided to use Merengue in my processional as seen below:

  • We used the lasso and arras for our ceremony.  We also had the dollar dance but we called it the Honeymoon dance.  The program gave a description of the arras and lasso for those that weren't Catholic.  You can have a Padrino and Madrina for the arras and lasso or you can choose to have the Best Man and Maid of Honor.  The lasso becomes an heirloom.
