Prayers of the Faithful question

I wanted to say something about those who have passed in the prayers of the faithful section, especially for my grandma, grandpa, uncle, and FI's grandpa.

My grandma and uncle were baptised Catholic and had Mass of the Christian Burial when they passed. However, my grandpa was not baptised and FI's grandpa was baptised baptist.

I wanted to do something like, "For those who have gone before us -- especially Catherine's grandmother Josephine, grandfather Walt, uncle Jack, and Christopher's grandfather John -- we pray to the Lord."

Can I still mention the grandfathers even though they weren't Catholic in the prayers of the faithful section, or should I keep it more general? IE, "For those who have gone before us, we pray to the Lord."

I think you're fine to include them in a generic way. Where you would have trouble is if you said something like, "Gone before us marked with the sign of faith," which implies baptism.

I included my mother by name in my Prayer of the Faithful and she was not Catholic, I am not even 100% sure she was baptised. My priest was fine with this.
