House Without A Key reviews?

Hi ladies!!!  Has anyone dined at House Without A Key?  It's on my list of places to have dinner on our wedding night....we're having our ceremony with Captain Howie at 4pm then heading back for dinner.  We're staying at the Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk.  I figured we'd walk over to House Without A Key for a more "formal" dinner then head to the Yard House for a few brews and a more relaxed celebration.  There are only 5 of us (me, FI, FMIL, FFIL and FSIL)....what do you think?

    we went there for cocktails one night, but don't think they serve dinner, it was more like an outdoor bar

    Congratulations! I personally wouldn't choose HWAK for a wedding night dinner. It's pretty casual and foodwise I think you can find much better quality elsewhere. I feel like the focus at HWAK is more on the hula dancers/entertainment they have and less on the service and food. I have heard others who enjoy it there so it just depends on what kind of vibe you are going for. Check the reviews on Tripadvisor and you can see all the pictures that users uploaded on there to get a feel for the place to see if it meets your needs.

    Oooooh okay...thanks for the tips!!  I was going to go to dinner in my dress so I wanted someplace that was a little fancy but not stuffy....time to go check other places!!  Embarassed

    So we don't leave you hanging.... Look into La Mer, Orchids, or Sarrento's (top of the Ilikai). All of these are great as well and good for a wedding night dinner. Sarento's has 360* views of the ocean, diamond head, and the marina.

    Orchids has a prix fixe menu for weddings and it includes cake. I think it's something around $100 a person. Orchids and La Mer are in Halekulani so they are near HWAK.

    Sarento's is a little further down but they have amazing food as well.
