Tag Heuer Outlet

Has anyone gone to this outlet?  How are the prices compared to full price?  I am thinking on getting a watch for FI and though of checking it out there but didnt want to drive if it was going to be a waste of time.

Although it gives me another excuse to go to the coach outlet and do some shopping for myself Wink

Wow, where is it? My parents got me a Tag for my 25th birthday last year and I love it! I know they got it on sale at Fortunoff which obviously doesn't help you.

Overstock.com has a pretty big selection of "designer" watches (Tag, Movado etc.) for much less than retail. So if you saw something you liked in a store, you could always order it online (if they have it), though I might be worried about warranty etc.

However, I bought a Movado watch while I was in Cozumel back in 2000 and it was MUCH less than it would have been here. When it needed a new battery I took it to the Movado store in Short Hills mall and they changed the battery no problem.

You will see  an average of ~20% off on older, but new models.  Sometimes you luck out with newer models or better sales.  I am a huge watch geek, but for some reason the Tag's don't really appeal to me.

I have been looking at the Tags online.  Some of them are cute.  I tend to lead towards the more rugged looking ones as opposed to the danty ones.  My friend got her husband a Raymond Weil that was awesome as well.  User, what other types of watches would you recommend?  I am looking under $1500 or so.

depends on what you are looking for

Quartz? Automatic?  Dress (metal braclet)?  Casual (leather or rubber strap)?

Don't get a Movado (although the series 800 is one of the nicer, less expensive models).  Check out Ball or Seiko Automatics

My favorite dress watch is a bit high in price, the omega seasmaster planet ocean.  Look equally good on rubber, leather, or metal
