We got engaged in July- apparently he'd gotten the ring back in May, but then his best friend proposed, then my brother proposed, so he waited a little while

We originally wanted to go to the Dominican Republic as I have family that is from there, but while the resorts were a great deal, airfare from Atlanta is sooo expensive. We'd gone to a friend's wedding at Iberostar Tucan in Playa del Carmen, and loved it, so we decided to do that since Cancun is pretty cheap to fly to. We looked at other resorts in the area, but we'd had so much fun at Iberostar Tucan, and knew their weddings are lovely, so went with it.

I'm a semi lurker! BMCLeod happy almost wedding! I'm getting married not this weekend but next! EEK! My final dress fitting was today. Yay! I'm a little stressed because I'm starting a new job the week we leave. Yikes.

Finally had time since getting engaged to post on this board. We are got engaged in August. We are getting married August 1st in Hawaii on the Big Island at the Royal Kona Resort.
