I originally bought my dress from David's bridal but I am looking to make some alterations to the dress and the store told me they could not "alter the integrity" of the dress according to the designer. So I am looking to take it to an outside seamstress so I can make my zipper back a corset back, along with adding a bustle. I am so nervous about taking my dress to be altered though. Has anyone had any good experiences with seamstresses on the Northshore, preferably someone in Slidell, but i'll drive anywhere if the person does great work!
