Can you please let me know what the average people are spending on their flowers for the bride, bridesmaid, ceremony, and the reception tables. I just got my first quote and totally not what i was expecting.
I spent $600 but I did not have bridesmaids and my flowers were amazing!! That included delivery to my venue too! I had my bouquet, 10 centerpieces, ceremony flowers, cake table flowers, and the corsages and bouts. I think about 8 total.
My orignal quote was $770ish but we are doing all gerbera daisies and making them smaller so it will be cheaper. We have my bouquet, MOH bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 2 FG bouquets, 3 mom corsages, 5 GM boutineers, 1 dads boutineer, 2 RB boutinners, 4 grandparents boutinners/corsages.
Mine was about $1500 for 10 centerpieces, close to 17 bouts, 8 corsages and my flowers, toss bouquet and 6 BM bouquet...I got a good deal, I feel like the average is between 1500-2500
We've been quoted at 2 different places so far (haven't made a choice yet) and one was $3000 and the other was $4500. That is for 15 tall centerpieces, 8 cocktail smaller centerpieces, all bouquets/etc. for all bridal party members and parents, toss bouquet, and 3 arrangements on the seating card table. It really depends what you're looking for. Taller arrangements cost more than short ones and also the size and types of flowers/season of your wedding will affect the price.

Mine is about $1100 for a bridal bouquet, 6 bm's flowers, 9 boutineers (sp?), and 4 corsages. Oh yeah that also includes a white arbor we're renting with flowers on stands in front of it. All delivered.
Mine is 2k for my bouqiet, 8 bridesmaids, 2 mother corsages, 1 grandmother corsage, 8 groomsmen, 1 groom, 2 father then 2 tall ceremony pieces, and 17 centerpieces, with free delivery too!
Ours is right around $3000, but we're getting a lot (even though I don't have bridesmaids):
Wedding bouquet - 12" Corsages for Moms & Grandmas (6) Boutineers for groomsman and brother-of-honor Boutineer for groom (after he changes out of his uniform) Boutineers for Dads & Grandpas (6) Moderate sized low table arrangements with roses, peonies, hydrangeas (18) Large fireplace mantle displays of hydrangeas & floating candles (3 mantles) Shephards hooks of hydrangeas, roses, and assorted flowers for ceremony (6) Large topiaries with hydrangeas for altar (2)
A lot depends on the type of flowers you want, the size, the quantity, etc. Shop around because prices vary a LOT!

Aerie Mountain Talk to Roxanne (860)379-8899 She has an etsy shop as well she will give you tons of suggestions and ideas over the phone about what will be in season and work with any budget. I was really flexible. I wanted roses for my bouquet but being that it was a fall wedding I wanted mums and roses and other fall flowers for my centerpieces and we did them coming out of pumpkins and they were amazing!
I am with Calindi that most of these numbers seem off because a lot of the girls are only doing the bare basics. You will need to think of ceremony florals, cocktail hour tables, accents (like fireplaces/banisters), bathroom florals, accent florals for the bar and escort card tables, cake dressing (maybe) and any other arragnements you may need if the venue has awkward empty space or ugly flowers of their own.

You don't NEED to think of these things - I've been to flower-free weddings that were beautiful and elegant. But yes, it is helpful to stop and think about what you WANT, because you can get a ton of arrangements for very little if the flowers you're using are cheap. It all depends on the type of flowers, size and style and difficulty of the arrangements, and the quantity of pieces.
hmmm true, Calindi, I think there are other ways to personalize a wedding space than flowers. I think part of what I am looking for in a wedding venue is a place that will allow me to do that instead of having a wedding venue that looks as though it could be any other person's wedding on any other given day minus bridesmaid dress colors and bouquet colors.Flowers just seemed the easiest way to keep the style theme in my mind, but it will be interesting to brainstorm otherwise!
We were about $2,000 as well. But I feel like that was an amazing deal for 26+ centerpieces, 10 BM/11 GM's flowers, parents, special people involved in the wedding, church, bows for the pews, entry way/escort card table, flowers for cake and I am sure I am missing something!
