Anyone have any opinions, insight, or vents about the whole Petraeus (did i spell that right?) affair and scandal?

I got a kick out of a commenter on the Today Show.  Something about, If a guy can't even keep his piece on the side a secret, he definitely needs to not be in control of keeping any of our nation's secrets.

i feel terrible for the spouses.  I'm just educating myself on this today.  I've only got the basics.  Anyone up to date on the whole thing?

    On the flip side, this is my favorite tweet I've seen on the matter:
    'If you're head of the CIA & can't hide your mistress from your wife it means it can't be done. Case closed. Sorry fellas.'

    My mom told me once 'If someone is messing up in their personal life, they're probably messing up in their professional life.'

    Basically a person who is a sneak/cheat/lie is probably having those morals across the board.

    I'm not terribly opinionated on this particular story, though.

    I totally agree with that! I think it's funny that so many people are posting about the affair when I don't care if the guy cheats despite it being against the rules. I'm more concerned about whether our national security has been compromised.
