Something Borrowed

I talked to my mom on the phone just now and we were discussing wedding day jewelry. She told me that I can wear the earrings that my father gave to my mother at their rehearsal dinner for their wedding! My something borrowed, check!

So far:
Something old- Mama's wedding headpiece and veil (updated slightly)
Something new- Wedding dress
Something borrowed- Mama's earrings from her wedding day from daddy

I'm pretty sure someone in my family will be giving me a blue garter for my bridal shower for my something blue.

Oh and my mom says that the last line says "and a penny under your shoe" and insists that i tape/glue a penny to the bottom of my shoe haha

Please share all yours!! I would love to hear the stories especially about the old and borrowed :)

There's only 1 way 2 say those 3 words and that's what I'll do... I love you Image and video hosting by TinyPic

    Very nice!

Haha unfortunately I don't have my old and borrowed yet... the two coolest ones... I'm open to suggestions.

My new is my jewelry (also dress, undergarments, etc.)
My blue is my shoes and purse

I've been MIA for a while, but hopefully I'll get caught up here soon. ;)

Old - a gold ring in the shape of a rose that my grandfather found on the beach in Hawaii (I wear it every day)
New - my mother bought me an amethyst necklace that I wore while getting ready, and I had also bought my own jewelry for the ceremony itself (and also my dress, shoes, etc.)
Borrowed - the ring bearer pillow. It was used in my BIL's wedding, and since his sons were our ring bearers, it seemed appropriate. :D

    Blue - my underwear. ;)

Something borrowed- pearl necklace from my mother.
Something old - the Belgian lace that my father purchased when I was born, we're using it on my veil.
    Something new - my dress
Something blue - I have a little blue ribbon attached to my garter.

July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

    Something new: Dress :)

Something old: Great grandpa's (who passed away last year) wedding band. We're tying to the bouquet. This was my great grandma's only request (well besides an invitation).

    Something borrowed: My mom's veil.

Something blue: Either underwear or shoes. I haven't decided yet.

    New - dress
Blue - on dress, on boots, earrings, necklace... :P
Old & Borrowed - the DAY OF when then FI and I were riding to the place to get ready (in his truck haha) I called his mom and asked her to bring something old and borrowed.  She said she'd look and bring several options and I ended up wearing a silver bracelet that was simple but perfect.  Right after I put it on she said I could keep it haha.  I told her I'd give it back, then she could give it back to me.  :P
