I think the Greate Bay CC was one of the first places we looked. A friend of my FI's was married there - very nice.

@NROD70 - check out Linwood CC in your travels. You have to bring in the alcohol there, but it is very pretty and SUPER reasonable! Kari Konrad is the contact there - she is really nice.

NP. I went to the bliss bridal show last year - lots of fun! very tiring! this year, thankfully, i've got all of my vendor's booked - now I'm just doing all my diys and finalizing the details - oh yeah, and making sure i save my pennies!

Check out Renault Winery too! It's really nice and affordable. The food was outstanding and I got tons of compliments.

I'm not an Atlantic County gal but the FI and I are loving the Ram's Head Inn (eh...close enough to butt in on this thread

). We haven't booked yet but it's a high contender on the list....albeit a very short list.

It's only the 2nd venue we've seen but we fell in love with the place. I'm a little bit nervous not actively shopping around more since we went for a visit there but I certainly got *that* feeling when I walked in.

When you ge tthe feeling you just know!! Congrats - I looked at over 15 venues in NJ and Philly and picked the very last one...much like the dress, I just knew. :) Good luck!

I live in Mays Landing but got married in Marlton at my parents' synagogue.

FYI, definitely check out the Bliss Bridal Expo tomorrow! I went to it 2 years ago when it was held at the AC Convention Center and I won my gown from Wedding Belles in Northfield!

Thanks, Laurie109! I give you credit for looking at so many places. After going through house-hunting over the summer with FI, I don't know if could jump back in with wedding venues!

Wish I could go to the Bliss Bridal Expo that's tomorrow. Definitely planning on attending a few though - who doesn't love the chance to win something?!

Mee and I am hoping to find somewhere there to have my wedding!! I am planning it from across country (my husband is military but my fam/friends are all there) And I still have a lil over a yr to plan it but it isnt easy being so far away! I am hoping I can rely on family or friends to help with a venue for the reception and I am hoping to get married at the beach!! We are def on a budget and seeing as we already have to fly back there we need to try and save money! How is ur plannng going??

I'm here! One of my friends is getting married at the Five Point Inn in Vineland and I couldn't believe how affordable they were and how much was included in the price. My fiancee is from Philadelphia so we are looking outside of Atlantic County. We have an appointment at Camden County Boathouse tomorrow. I fell in love with the pictures so hopefully the place itself is as beautiful.
