So I have this idea in my head that I want to have tamales for Christmas dinner with my family. Definitely craving Mexican food, and I want to do something different this year.
However, not being Hispanic myself, I have no idea what else to serve besides the usual beans and rice. I tried searching for things online, but I just can't really get a feel for what side dishes to serve. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, my brother and his girlfriend are vegetarians, so anything that can be easily adapted to that would be great.
Thanks!

BAM!
[QUOTE]Nicholette, I thought pozole was just hominy and chili colorado? I think my dad may make it wrong. haha but that would be vegitarian. OP, you could make bean enchiladas tortilla soup, or a green enchilada casarole. http://www.yummly.com/recipe/Green-Enchilada-Casserole-Recipezaar_2
