I've had a few check, but for some reason I am not excited anymore =(. For some reason I feel like I am just moving through the motions and doing things just because they have to be done. I don't know what's wrong with me??
Anywayz... CHECKS!!!
- I have my caterer and she's making us churrasco!!!! yummy, our favorite, but maybe because we haven't had an actual food tasting because I've been working like a dog lately, that I am not excited
- We met up with an officiant and loooove him, Frank Nunez. He's great, and awesome price. He finally emailed me back today so we are good to go
- I bought my earrings at etsy from a seller, plumbcrazy, they are exactly what I was looking for as far as style, hopefully I'll like them when they arrive. She has a matching necklace and bracelet that I will purchase if I like the earrings
-I met up with a florists and she seems great. Fleur de LIS designs. I haven't called her back saying I'll be doing business with her, but I will this week. I had to cancel an order with TRiAS, which I thought I wasn't going to be able to, but I did without any issues. Fleur is charging me less than a grand for 2 big floral arrangements to go in the front of the ceremony area, 10 CP's, 6 small arrangements to put throughout, 3 BM bouquets (that's right 1 less because I lost a girl), the bridal bouquet, the MOM corsages and all the petals I want!!!
- Invitations are coming along, I had FI type up the direction cards and get me all the adresses from his side of the family, which were a huge help
- the tags for my parasols and fans have been made and laminated, the only thing is I don't know how to tie them to the actual favors
- oooo I am very excited about this check.... we found a great recipe for the cake!!! My aunt is making the cake, but my mom's friend gave a great recipe for it. It is so yummy, simple, moist but not too moist, with a hint of orange, the citrus flavor will go great with the garden theme and then they are filling it with a spanish vanilla custard that I L-O-V-E.
-I made my birdcage sign over and I love it. I am also redoing the toasting glasses and the wishing tree, hopefully I'll have that done along with invites and all CP pots painted
