Photographer Help!!!

I think I may have just messed up my day by not hiring a professional photographer.  My FI was being cheap so I was cool with it in the beginning but now I'm hurt.  My photographer now is someone getting started and she has never done a wedding brfore.  It's only costing me $250 but I don't think that is a risk I am will to take on pictures.
Does anyone know of any good photographers at the last minute that are availiable for an Oct 1 wedding and that will not break my pockets.  I think I may be able to afford 1200 for 6 hours.  I don't want any prints just editing and right to the photos.

    How close are you to Kannapolis, NC?  I know of a great photographer here that may be able to help!

    Check out Lisha Myers. She photographed our rehearsal dinner and did some e-pix for us. She's younger, so her prices are reasonable, but she has some good experience & she travels. You can google her to check out her website & blog. Let me know if you need more info. Good luck!

    I am considering going with Alisha Rudd Photography myself. She is still sort of new...but has great prices. You should check out her web site and see some of her work. I'm still a bit on the fence about a photographer myself as they are soooo expensive. Good luck! Keep us posted!

    Scott Muthersbaugh was our photography and he was great.  He could probably work with you.  He is a photog for a local paper and does wedding on the side. So he might not be booked yet.

    Take a look at Jenn Smith - she's out of Winston-Salem but she travels for cheap. She did our engagement and wedding photos and came to Fayetteville and Benson and everything was amazing. She comes with an assistant and all sort of perks (photobooth, props, etc) - her packages are reasonable. Check the website!
