PHOTOGRAPHER

I have chosen a photographer that I LOVE, however she doesn't actually give us any photos everything is downloadable and you get full access to your pictures. So, I can make albums online or take the discs anywhere to have them printed off...Has anyone else found their photographer yet, and is this common?

we are getting a dvd with all the photos on it.  We have the option to buy and album or get photos printed on canvas.

That's really common now. Ours give us a high-res CD of all our images that can be printed anywhere or she does have the option of printing them too but they're more expensive. She also has photo albums.

Just make sure you get a high-res CD or the quality won't be as good for the pics.

It is becoming more common because photographers who do not allow their clients rights to their photos are losing business to those who do.  My photographer is giving everything to us on discs, we have the rights and can print them off ourselves.  It makes thing more cut and dry for the photographer saving time and stress and makes things easier (and usually  cheaper) for the bride and groom.

Agree that this is more common and I actually kind of prefer it b/c there are SO many printing options now. Ditto to the just make sure you get the HIGH res images - low or medium won't print off well. I've seen this small difference on several photog packages. We just chose our photographer too & I'm SUPER SUPER excited ... hope this makes you feel more at ease!

There is a great website called mpix.com where they do professional photo developing and it is really cheap.  I do photography on the side and that's where I develop my pics.
