DONE: Faux Bois Favor tags + DIY magnetic bookmark rehearsal favors! PIP

Just finished these up yesterday. First are the rehearsal dinner favors - I designed them in InDesign and printed on vellum:

And here are the favor tags I designed and ordered on Vistaprint. The image is small and it's kinda hard to read. Sorry! We'll be attaching these to our caramel apple favors:

Bigger pictures and details are on my bio under DIY and Blog. :)

We were going to do that using Daffy Apple, but then discovered that the shipping costs for that PLUS all the toppings we're adding would be almost $5/apple, which was more than we wanted to pay to do all the work ourselves.

So what we're doing now is getting caramel apples from Candyland (in St. Paul). Half of them will be rolled in peanuts, too, so we're taking those and dipping/rolling/drizzling them with chocolate, cinnamon sugar, etc. (the flavors are on the favor tag above and on my bio).

I HIGHLY recommend those candyland caramel apples. She gave them to us for $2.10 each and the caramel is homemade, thick, buttery and amazing, really.

I love Candyland.  I work near the one in St. Paul and have been getting their Chicago mix popcorn for years.  There's nothing like the smell of a candy shop among office buildings.
