Meeting With The Minister

Hey ladies!  I am meeting with the minister officiating our wedding ceremony this weekend and I need advice on what to discuss with him.  I know that we are going to go over the vows together, but I wasn't sure if there are any other questions I should ask him or things we should discuss.  What are some things that you ladies discussed with your minister when you met with him/her?

We discussed special things that I wanted to happen..like only the pastor and the musci guy knew I was going to sing to hubby. He also needs to know special que's that go along with the music selections. He also needs to set aside some time for you and hubby to sign the mariage license right after or during the ceremony. Umm..can't remember anything else at the moment. Good Luck!!! :)

Thanks Brobin01.  I wish I could sing.  If I were to sing to FI he'd probably break into laughter.  LOL.

Our officiant took the lead. She asked if we were writing our own vows or having a traditional wedding. If there was any passages that we wanted added or anything special. Plus it was a marital counseling session. So we talked about our beliefs, family, finances, conflict resolutions. I guess that doesnt help much, sorry. lol
