I was just wondering if anyone had used the DC Center for their reception and was wondering how it turned out? We have an appointment later this week to look at it, but just wanted some insight.
We just attended a reception there and it was beautiful, strange that there was prom and another wedding there at the same time but it was very nice. The only bad part was the manager?? She was absolutely one of the rudest people I've ever met. Other than that it was super.
I went to a wedding reception there last summer and it was very nice. It bugged me though that there was a 50th anniversary going on next door and there was a really LOUD reception going on in the room on the other side. At one point, during the speeches, I couldn't hear the speeches because the music next door was super loud. But other than that, the whole reception was really nice.
That's where we are having ours in May! I'm super excited. I met the owner and someone in management and they have been SUPER with us. I recently went to a 50th anniversary there and it was very nice. We were short on chairs but they brought more in. I don't think it was their fault because it wasn't an RSVP event, so they didn't have any idea how many people were coming.
