Photobooth Pics for Favors?

What do you guys think? We are having a photobooth at our wedding! I was discussing this with my fiance and my parents and we decided that this would be a great favor! I mean really, who uses half of the gifts you get at weddings? We are a person from the photobooth company make a scrapbook with the pic (the booth prints out two copies, one for them and one for our scrapbook)! This is also where they will write little notes to us..hopefully lol!

What do you think, if you came to my wedding, would you enjoy this as a favor?? :]

    It's done alot and from what  I understand it's always a hit.  Some girls also get picture frames as table favors so that the guests can frame their picture and take it home.

    yea - thats a great gift, and its soo much more fun and rememberable than many little trinket things.

    one of the photobooths in town will make a custom border with your wedding information on it - maybe see if they can personalize it like that for you.  :-D

    That's what I'm doing too!  It's such a fun idea, I think guests will have a blast.  My plan is to buy a bunch of the frames and put them at each table setting with a reminder to go take a photo with their family, partner, child, whatever, put one in the guest book and sign it and take one home for themselves.

    My Fiance and I really want a photobooth at our wedding as well - His parents frowned upon the duplicate picture as being the favor. (Since older guests will probably not get involved or get in the photobooth)  We are considering donating money and calling that the favor and having the photobooth still. or having about half the amount needed of a more traditional favor set aside at the bar for guests to take if they would really like to do so.

    We are having a photobooth at our wedding, and were torn on what we would do with the strips.  We decided not to do that scrapbooking after because we are afraid of it holding up the line, and that people will end up taking the pictures if they dont like them or if they really just want a second set for someone else in the group (half the fun for us with the booth is going to see all the drunk pictures everyone ends up taking!).  We are decorating a box and having the photo booth attendant drop our half into the box after and we can do what we choose with them.  I saw a really  cute idea from martha stewart weddings where you buy long picture frames and stagger them across the frames and then hang them in your house.
    As for a favor we are buying photo strip holder frames for everyone and putting one at each seat.  We are going to make a little insert to put inside saying thank you for coming and enjoy the photo booth or something similar.  My mom was also against the frames and pics as favors and not everyone will use it, but I don't think there are many favors that will appeal to everyone at the wedding.  The frames are a cute idea that people can stick at an office or at their house as a great reminder of  your wedding.
    Just an FYI - if anyone is looking for strip holders, or photo booth place was going to charge $2 per frame (we are having about 250 people).  We looked online and found a woman on ebay who makes them for about $.75 each!!

    Thank you dnbeach 12! That is a great idea! I've been looking all morning to find photo frames for my 130+ guests and never thought to look on ebay for wholesaler. I found her! Smile

    I like the idea! I also like the idea of getting little picture frames. I would think picture frame keychains would be awesome too. Maybe leave some of each by the photobooth and let them decide which ones they want.

    The ebay member name is Patrice8285.  I have not yet ordered them since we are waiting on a more definite count so I do not know the quality, but all of her feedback is excellent on them.  She has several different sizes available.  I know we need the 2x6 frames for the prints from our photobooth company.  I sent her a message about the amount I would most likely need, and she offered to discount my shipping too.  She said it takes about a week to make them and ship them out.  I hope this helps!
