GT Modern feedback......or any other videographer suggestions?

Hi everyone!

Following up from a previous post regarding videographer suggestions...I've been trying to contact GT Modern via email and phone but with no luck.  Also, so far three other vendors have told me they don't work in my wedding month (January).  Can anyone recommend other videographers that have that cinematic (movie) feel? 

I've decided after seeing your posts that some of the ones I was looking at for min. 4, 500k for only a 3 min highlight reel was a bit ridiculous.  Any suggestions would be great! Thank you!

    I really wanted GT. I emailed AND called them and they did take over a week to get back to me which I found weird for a vendor. However, when they finally did they said they were unavailable. Try John Jae who I went with or Northeast Horizons. I didn't choose Northeast bc he had a higher deposit then I was willing to pay but his work looked good and he had worked with my photographer before. Both of them were the same price range around 15001600. HTH

    Same thing here! I wrote them and they wrote me back and they said they were unavailable for the date about a week later.  But I have only heard wonderful things about the company!

    I used GT for my wedding and they were phenominal.  Yes, they can take some time getting back to their clients, but they also do a lot of traveling for weddings so they can be busy during the week.  I honestly had my doubts about them at first as well because the response time was lagging.  However, on my wedding day they were one of the first vendors to arrive at my house when I was getting ready and were on point the whole day.  They were also one of the last to leave.  Please be patient and don't be afraid to follow up with another email or phone call.  If they are available the day of your wedding, I can't recommend them enough.

    I agree, GT was one of the best vendors I had. So great to work with! I luckily booked them a year in advance and they were available but when we did meet with them a year ago they were telling us how they went from a few weddings a year to 40+. They are definitely a lot busier than they used to be so i would give them a little more time or follow up again. If they are available, they are definitely worth it! Good luck!

    We booked them in September 2012 for our October 2013 wedding. I have heard nothing but good things about them and watched tons of the videos online. I didn't think the response time was that bad but I may just not be remembering correctly! I would just try to reach out again!
