A few weeks ago, my mother told me she was asked to pass on some infrmation. I was not to make any plans for the entire day (and night) of April 7th, which I already knew was my bridal shower.
Interesting.
FI knows all the plans, but I have been doing my best not to ask him too many questions or he wouldn't be able to keep them secret
So last night, I was putting something on the calendar about how I'm going to spend the night with my girls next weekend (the 31st- a bday party for one of them). He said 'oh, you're putting on there that you're not coming home? I already knew that.' with a smirk. I was like, how the heck did you know that I wasn't coming home? Even I didn't know that until today. He said the same thing he has been saying whenever the shower comes up.. that he has spies. At that point, I was like, umm. you know that this isn't the shower weekend, right?
He sort of stopped and then was like, 'oh, yeah.. I didn't say that, you didn't hear anything. well, are you sure you have to go, I miss you when you're gone, blah blah blah' I let him think he had done a good job of changing the subject, but now I'm wondering if the plan involves taking me away somewhere for the night
I'm super excited to find out what they have in store for me! 2 weeks to go, though!
