Dress Dilemma

Ok ladies, I'm bored at work and guessing some of you are too so I need opinions. There's two dresses I've tried that I REALLY love and am stuck on. I was determined that I wanted the David's Bridal one, but the other one was gorgeous too. I need your thoughts on them Help!

Have you tried both on? The DB one is quite a bit less expensive (if your on a budget). I like the KW one better though. It might just be a personal thing though. I'm not a huge DB/off-the-rack-only-boutique fan. So I may just be biased, haha. But really, I'm sure you'd look gorgeous in either. I'd say go try them both on and go by how you feel to make na decision.

I like them both but I also like the KW dress better. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the DB dresses I tried on. I thought they felt kind of cheap, they looked great but they didn't feel as nice on as the one I picked. Although you can't beat their prices so if you're on a tight budget the price difference might be something to consider. I agree with cnf to try them on and see what you like best. But they'll both look great I'm sure! I can't wait to see what you pick!

I've tried both of them on, and I like both of them. I'm not really on a budget as my parents are paying for everything, and they know I'm very good with not going overboard on money. If I think something is too much, I won't get it even if I really want it, and that's especially true when it isn't my money. I could get either one so I'm not worried about the money aspect. Also, the KW is closer to $1100 at the boutique at home that has it so that's nice. Ugh... I hate not knowing what I want. I might need to try them both on again.

I like the Kenneth Winston one a little bit better, mainly because the bodice has more of a wow factor. Can you try them both on again in the same day? That way, each one will be fresh in your mind and it might make it easier to choose between the two.

I also like the KW one better. I feel like the sweetheart neckline is more defined. My first thought was that they both looked pretty similar so really I think you should choose the one that is most comfortable - and the least heavy!

Well most of these lovely ladies seem to have a marginal favorite, but for me, the KW has significantly more wow factor than the DB one.

But, it's all about how you feel in the dress, but looking at supermodel girls, the KW one looks better haha. Unfortunately we all don't actually look like that lol.

Do you have pictures of you in either? I haven't dress shopped yet, but when my best friend was looking for hers I learned that it was nearly impossible to judge based on a picture of the dress on a model.

In general though, I like the KW one better because of the dropped waist. I don't like the harsh cut off of the DB one right in the midsection. However, the DB one would be more forgiving if you have larger hips you want to cover.

Both have lovely beading!

I also just noticed the back of the dresses are significantly different (not that it couldn't be changed for a price). The DB one has a corset back while the KW one has a regular back. I personally hated the corset back (on me). I didn't like how long it took to do and I didn't like the look of it once it was done. The beading on the dress I chose went all around and the dress had a zipper. I didn't like that the front of the dresses with a corset had detail but the back was so plain. Just a thought!

I love the DB one! It has sparkle through out the whole dress.

I don't have any in the DB dress as they won't let you take pictures until you buy. However, this is the KW dress. I'm also starting to work on getting some weight back off so I can look amazing at my wedding.
