Inexpensive Engagment Pics

We are planning a wedding in Cozumel Mexico and are looking to just get some engagment pictures done here in NC. We live in the Charlotte area, but are not from here so we have no idea where to begin looking for photographers! Any suggestions on inexpensive places for engagement pictures such as new photographers or any other places that are cheap?

I have a friend from high school who is a photographer and owns her own business. She's about to have a baby in early May, but she's still working as far as I can tell. Maybe check her out and see if her style is what you're looking for:

You could always just have a friend with a good camera, or family member take your pictures. That's what we did and they came out wonderfully. They aren't the new artsy style, but we didnt really need that.

With that said, as pp have said, there are many photographers around that can be affordable. It's all about what will fit your budget
