Hello!  Hope everyone had a nice New Years! 

We are still trying to figure out our honeymoon...so I know I've heard on here that some ppl have used travel agents.  Who did you use?  Were you satisfied?  Were they able to get you better deals?

Neither of us have traveled much so we are kinda lost when it comes to where is the best place to go.  We are in the process of remodeling our home so we really want to keep to a strict budget!  Thanks for your help!!

    We used AAA, and yes, we got a better deal then we could have booked on our own.

    agree with PP, AAA if you're a member. we also price shopped Mann Travels here in Charlotte.

    we ended up booking on our own, but i price shop all vacations. I would rec a TA if you haven't gone to your destination and for other potential upgrades/savings. we are going to to back to a TA for info on excursions, etc.

    I am a AAA member so I will look into that first.

    We are thinking either Mexico or somewhere in the Caribbean (Jamacia, Bahamas, etc).

    We also booked our HM through AAA. They gave us a lot of of information to look over, recommended different resorts, and were really easy to book through.

    Any idea whether AAA or Costco is a better deal?  I'm a member of both and was poking around on the Costco site a bit this weekend.  Looks like they're tied in with some nice places.

    I would definitely check www.allinclusiveoutlet.com!  We're thinking about going to Mexico and we were quoted the lowest price through the outlet.  I'm a AAA member and their quote was almost $500 more!
