Would like some advice from all the ladies who are married now: If you could change one (or two) thing from your wedding, what would it be? I'm just curious...

Looks like it, doesnt it... hahaa.. oh well... i should have picked an earlier May date. LOL
I would eat more before the ceremony, so I could eat a light dinner. I had prime rib at my reception and had a cramp pretty much every time I tried to dance. Still had fun though, nothing can bring you down on your WEDDING DAY!
I also would have eaten more throughout the day. I also would have loved to spend MORE time with my husband. We kept getting split up. And, I was kind of bummed to realize I didn't dance with my brother. We "wiggles" together to one of this ridiculous songs and there are pictures of the two of us, but I wished I would have danced with him.

DON'T let the reception last so long, a lot of ppl had left before we did the garter and boquet toss. We were married around 3:30pm and everyone was almost gone by 6. We left at 7.
DON'T worry about the small stuff. We started late, my cake slid, and there was almost no music! It all worked itself out!
DO have your make up artist or whomever come out and do your makeup, it saved a lot of running and my makeup was flawless thru the whole reception and afterparty!
DO take a few mintutes to enjoy your new husband! We were runninng around all day, then had about 15 minutes together before the after party to get changed! Once we got home around 1:30, we sat up and talked for hours (& of course other stuff )
I would've checked my makeup myself more often- I kept asking MOH if it was okay and she helped me adjust throughout the day, but now I'm waiting for the photographers pictures and I'm SO paranoid about it (mainly based off some horrible cell phone pics I've seen). I'm sure it was fine, but man, I wish I would've checked to be sure
Also- Walking down the aisle I was SO distracted by everyone else, and almost forgot to even spare a glance at George- I wish I would've just kept my eyes on him the whole way down
I would have gotten more snacks for the girls while we were getting ready, and I would have let my guests know about te sparkled sendoff. A lot of people left right before the sparklers not realizing we had something planned.
I would have had a snack before the reception. I was so hungry by then I struggled to eat. I would have spent more time with my husband. Felt like we barely saw eachother at the reception. I would have paid more attention to all of our guests. I was having such a great time dancing I didnt do a whole lot of visiting.
Since we did a DW it was a tad different. HOnestly I'd have NO wedding party...my MOH stressed me out more than anything since she did nothing really and I'd rather have just done things myself and had fun. We made it an awesome day but I've learned who I can and can't depend on!

i already did that today. . . rain up until next friday and then it should be 72-79! perfect, but i probably just jinxed myself and it will be a tornado or something. can't wait for the wedding day!
I wish we would've had a videographer. The ceremony was such a blur to me. It would be nice to relive it. Plus, we had a string quartet (I wouldn't change that). But I had two pieces of more modern music arranged for the bridesmaid's processional and our recessional and I have no idea what they sounded like.
Side note: the person who arranged the music promised me recordings, but it would be nice to see how the music fit into the ceremony.
Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing. Although there were a few mishaps (rain, car accident, officient mess up, door mess up) it was still all so perfect and wonderful I was surprised at how much time DH and I actually spent together. We spent our reception talking with our friends, dancing, and catching up with family. There were only a few times where we weren't together
I don't know that I would change anything really. The day had a few moments that caused me some stress but, my brothers and MOH calmed me right back down every time; the day was warmer than we expected but living in Texas, warm is often what ya get! I guess the only thing that stands out for me is I didn't get a lot of pics at the reception with guests because we were talking and dancing more than anything else. However, I haven't seen any photos from our reception yet so, I might be pleasantly surprised.
Overall, the day was better than I imagined and being married is the most amazing feeling. Since this isn't my first marriage, it's interesting how different I feel than I did after my last wedding. I am so content and happy - which I wasn't last time. Just goes to show that I finally found the perfect man to spend the rest of my life with!
