Wedding Woes

Your (or your evil spawn) costume?

DD is going as a strawberry.

I am going as me.  There's really only one person in this world who can pull that off.  ;)

Son is a zombie army guy.

    DD1 is Minnie Mouse.

    DD2 is (hopefully) a goose.

Only two of them got to choose their costumes.

Bacon is a cat with a tulle skirt and minky tail and ears. I'm going as a witch; I finally finished the damn tulle petticoats. I should probably try the thing on and post pics; I have to play with my makeup before Saturday, anyway.

I think I'm going to buy H some zombie makeup and have him go as my late husband. He's not trying to come up with a costume at all. Party pooper.

Are you guys doing anything special for t-o-ting?

Taw, I will be taking that MM costume off of your hands in a couple of years :) Seems appropriate.

As for t-o-t-ing.... nope. We'll take pics of her in costume with the jack o'lantern and hope that people come to our door.

Bacon's going to get 3 chances. We're doing Boo at the Zoo on Saturday, she has a party on Sunday (they went last year), and then we'll obviously go in the neighborhood on Monday. Though we might leave H home to hand out candy and man the fog machine.

Good thing she has me to help  her eat all that delicious, delicious candy.

Rapunzel, complete with long hair and a frying pan.
We're going to a T-or-T alternative thingy tonight at my mom's church, and then real T-or-T in our neighborhood on the 31st.
I just realized that I never made her the T-or-T bag I was going to make.   :(

I had planned to go as Mother Goethel, but the Rapunzel dress took to dang long to make and I didn't have time.

H is in charge of Halloween, and he's known this for at least 6 weeks. Neither kid has a costume of any kind, in any state.

The plan was for Dex to be an excavator with a working arm and bucket. Des was maybe going to be a panda.

H and I are going as m&ms, since we have some of Duckis's "m" letters left over from the birthday party. :)

We ToT a little bit, but hardly anyone participates on our street (we get ZERO trick or treaters), and the boys don't know what they're missing out on. In fact, it's pretty perfect for little little kids. They couldn't handle a full neighborhood of every-house-ToT anyway.

Next year we might go down to my parents' for halloween. They have awesome ToT.

    Buffy = monster.
The Mr and I, eh, I think everything I have on hand would scare her and we're barely T-or-Ting anyhow (she's to little so we'll hit a few neighborhood houses).
I'll probably put on my horns though.

baby mo will be a tiger.  there will be no toting, just a party at daycare.  it's not like he's got enough teeth for candy.

dh and i will not be dressing up.

The opportunity to dress up has not presented itself this year and I am sad. Depending on how early I can get myself to wake up on Monday I may do this for work/haunted corn maze:

But I have to work until midnight the night before, so I wont be home until 12:45 and then I have to be up at 5:45...so that's doubtful.

We're going to a halloween party on Monday afternoon, and then possibly some TOTing.

The Boy is going as a train engineer. I will be going as a passenger on his imaginary train I guess. We will be ToT-ing, although The Boy has no idea what that is. He carries his pumpkin around and puts toys in it currently.

I need a friend that has a Halloween party because I have dressed up all of twice for Halloween in my life and that was in college (thanks for the timing on that Halloween hating phase mom & dad).  I would love the opportunity to put on a costume and fun make-up.

    6let is a dragon.
M2 is a cow.  I will be referring to her as Moogan all day.

DH and I will not be dressing up.  Although 6let keeps saying DH will be a helicopter and I will be an airplane.

DefConn is going to be a pumpkin.

The kiddo wasts some sort of scary mask to wear.  He'll probably complete the look with a flannel shirt and ripped up jeans and dried (fake) blood.
