This is the first post I've started myself, and it's unfortunate that it had to be on such a sad topic, but one of my favorite professors died yesterday. Apparently, she went into labor early and suffered complications.
The silver lining is that she gave birth to a little baby boy. He's a little small, but the doctors say he has a good chance of being healthy. Can we please send knottie vibes the little guy's way?

I know how hard this can be. One of my favorite professors had complications from surgery and died. We had our final exam on a Friday. He was going in for minor surgery on Monday. By the next Friday he was gone. It's so difficult to go back to school knowing that professor isn't going to be there. We still talk about his quotes and advice all the time. You never realize how much a professor can touch your life until he or she is gone.
Still here and still fabulous!
