It was amazing, and crazy, and awful, all at the same time! LOL! I would so do it again, though. I'm lucky I didn't die out there. I'm not being sarcastic, either. Okay, well, maybe I am just a lil bit. I was sick more times than I can count, got bit a LOT (thank God I took the Malaria vaccine,) someone in our group was held up at gun point, and the engine on our flight went out as we were taking off. Good times.

BUT, it felt awesome to help those kids, and they were so grateful. A group of them even gave me a gift! Some really pretty earrings :) I miss those kiddos already :( and the days that we didn't work were pretty fun!

Or laugh it off and be thankful you aren't that miserable and petty. Sorry she's bringing you down! I know the feeling, although it's my grandma, not my Mom.

Glad you had a fun trip!!!! I find adventures more memorable than relaxing vacations - you have had a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and you guys made a difference for some kids!
