Stuff to do in Naperville when you're in town for a wedding...

Hi Ladies,

So I'm down to the last piece of the puzzle...

What local info to put in the OOT bags.  We are hoping to get Downtown Naperville brouchures from the chamber of commerce (I've seen them on display in some stores), but I would also like to give guests some recommendations, especially for things to do on Saturday during the day, because the wedding doesn't start until 7:00.

Any favorite shops or lunch places?

Thanks in advance!

Don't forget about the Naper Settlement. That would be a fun activity for families to do.

    I love La Sorrella.

What time of year? There are lots of outdoor things to do-Riverwalk, the beach, etc.

Next weekend! Our wedding is march 12 at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville. I haven't spent too much time around there (I grew up in Arlington Heights and have lived out east since graduating from high school). The hotel has a shuttle that will take people local, so I'd like to give them some ideas.

Hang out with me! :) Just kidding.

Downtown is super cute for shopping.  You have to stop into Kernal Fabyan's for some popcorn, get a scoop of cookie dough from Cookie Dough Creations and try a burger at the Naperville staple- The Lantern.  Check out Naper Settlement and the Arboretum.  Take a walk on the riverwalk or enjoy the nightlife at Frankies, Features and Jilly's.  If you have a lot of OOT guests, White Chocolate Grill is amazing, Chicago-style pizza at Lou's downtown and Giordano's downtown is very yum!
It's time. Adoption saving and process started in November 2012.

If you contact the county tourism bureau they will provide maps and brochures - I contacted mine and they were more than happy to give them to me

Stay away from the Naper Settlement. It's under major construction all summer long. I was supposed to have my wedding there, and funny....they left that part out.
