Yikes, what a crazy past few days! On Tues morning I had to take FI to the emergency room. He has been experiencing massive headaches, vomiting etc.. So I get up at 5am Tues to leave for a business trip for 3 days and he can barely walk or talk. He was acting disoriented and begged to go to the hospital. So I call my boss, cancel the trip and rush him to the nearest hospital. We get in there, see the DR, get all these tests done and they admitted him! He had a clean cat-scan, chest xray, EKG and his blood work showed low sodium. They kept him to run more tests to see what was going on. He spent the night and yest morning they did an MRI of the brain.
Luckily everything was normal...the final diagnosis was "Unilateral Episodic migraines" as well as the low sodium. He was drinking so much water while he was sick that he was flushing out the normal levels of sodium that our bodies need. This is what caused the dizziness and disorientation. So we finally got out of there late last night and he is to follow up with the primary doctor and fill presciptions for the headaches. What a scary past couple days!!! I am glad he is ok and thankful this didn't happen the week of the wedding! I am praying that he does not have any more episodes like this before the wedding because it really had me petrified! T&P needed so that he stays well! Thanks ladies
