First DIY project :)

So instead of a regular guest book I am having a wishing tree for people to leave advice and things like that. I have silver and white tree branches that light up to hang the tags on. I used a cricket machine to cut the tags out of cardstock and then stamped them with the Mr & and Mrs stamp. All that's left to do is attach the string. After the wedding I am planning on taking the ones I really like and putting them in a frame around whatever our favorite wedding picture is.

That's such a cute idea!

We're getting married at a winery so I absolutely love what we're doing for our guest book:

We're going to have a table set up with 5 empty wine bottles & little note papers. People can write a note to us & select which of the 5 bottles they place their note in. The bottles will be labeled with future anniversaries & on that anniversary we'll open the corresponding bottle & read all of the notes

I`m doing a guest book box. Gonna make notecards similar to yours and decorate a wooden box to keep the cards in.

Fun! I've had postcards made that people can write marriage advice on instead of a guestbook. I'm in awesome company with people that get things done :-)

I love the wine bottle ideas, my cousin recently did it but with unopened bottles that everyone signed on the outside. We're planning on doing a book on shutterfly with our engagement pictures.
