Hello brides, where are you guys having your weddings at? Im having a really hard time choosing. I really want an outdoor ceremony but am having a hard time find a venue that i love the outside and reception inside
I've been to Tuscany Villa several times and LOVE the place. It's a beautiful venue and the food was exceptional. I've heard they are very helpful. Good luck~
Ours is at the house plantation. Its an outdoor room but we are having them enclose it since our wedding is in January. Pam and Connie are super nice and the place is beautiful!
Are you trying to stay in a particular part of town, or within a specific budget?
I second Courtyard at St. James Place - it was in my top three, but I didn't want an outdoor ceremony, so we went with another venue. A friend of mine got married there and LOVED it, though.
Also, Shirley Acres off of Kuykendahl near Cypresswood is very popular.
Someone mentioned the Gallery, too...I've not seen an outdoor ceremony there (the wedding I went to had the ceremony at a church), but the indoor reception area was very nice.
Oh - and Ashlynn Manor in Magnolia...or Heather's Glen in Conroe...
I actually attended a wedding at the Houston Rose Garden in Hermann Park and it was GORGEOUS! If you're planning a late spring/early summer wedding with about 100 guests, I'd check it out.
