Groom/Parent Gifts

Hi All,

Our wedding is very quickly approaching and the only things I really need to get in order are gifts for my soon to be hubby and parents- anyone have any suggestions for either?

For him, I've already done the watch, money clip, electronics, and cuff links would not be too exciting- I know he's purchasing me nice earrings or bracelet for me to wear on the big day.

As for my parents, I was hoping to get them something they could do- local getaway, wine related- something to let them get out and have a nice time on us, seeing they paid for the wedding :)

Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Re: Groom/Parent Gifts

  • For FI, how about tickets to go see his favorite sports team, band, or comedian?

I am struggling with a gift for my parents too! I also want to get them a local getaway and have looked into places from NYC to Boston to Vermont and Rhode Island, but just can't decide.

  • Thanks for the suggestions for both!  Actually considering a grill for my fiance since he's obsessed- it won't be able to be used until we move, but it will definitely be the first thing used when we do- and of course something small keepsake to go along with it.

If you happen to come across any packages/night or 2 getaways for parent gift, please let me know!

  • H and I didn't exchange gifts. We agreed not to spend the extra money on gifts for each other.

We got our parents a gift card to their favorite restaurant, and we also bought necklaces for our moms.
