I just got engaged sat and were are going to celebrate this weekend- I was trying to think of a small trinket/gift for him - any ideas?  Hes a typical guy likes golf, sports, whiskey,cigars, music and his car.  Were also in the process of looking for a house but hes not moving in til were married. 

and if you have any ideas for a great chirstmas gift for a mother-in-law to be that would be great!

    I got my FI a really nice DSLR camera he had been wanting as an engagement gift.  I wanted to get him a nice watch but he wanted the camera.  It was over $600 but I figured he spent 10X on an engagement ring so it was the least I could do.

    How about a bottle of Glen Livet? I know my fiance's grandpa like whiskey and that is what he drinks.

    How are you planning on buying it?  You are only 18 according to your other post on M&M.

    what about a cigar humidor, pre-packed with some special cigars, and maybe a keychain cigar cutter on the ribbon for the wrapping?

    Of course, if he's anything like guys in my family, a gift certificate to play X rounds of golf would also work!  
    July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

    You could always get him like a super fabulous watch. It is a traditional groom's present anyway. I actually got my fiancé an Omega watch for our engagement. Which is kinda expensive, but you could always get him something less extravagant but still nice... And then he can wear it on your wedding day :)
