  I had my reception at the Boumi Temple Hall in White Marsh, MD.  (The "Temple" is a free mason meeting hall, it is  not religiously affiliated.)  They have a giant ball room that divides into 3 sections.  It costs $1000 per section of the ball room to rent.  The tables and Chairs are included in the rental price. 
  
  Their exclusive caterer is Atlantic Caterers.  They were VERY reasonably priced.  The base package when I  go married was $46 per person and that included a cake from Sugar Bakers!  It also included my china and linens.  (The only thing not included in that price was the alcohol.  It was $12 additional PP for full bar.)

  The contact at Atlantic Caterers is Kristin Olsson.  She was awesome.  And, every 3 months they do a big tasting for prospective brides which is held at the Boumi Temple.  So if you contact Kristin and ask to attend the next tasting you get to try their food, go to a mini bridal show AND see the Boumi Temple as a prospective venue.  9They cater lots of other places too.)
  
  In fact people were so impressed with the food at our wedding at least 2 other parties booked Atlantic Caterers based on the food from my wedding.
